Step 1 - Download and install DicomBurn
Apply your 30 days trial or full license key.
Step 2 - Pick your post processing target
Decide what would you like to do with your studies after sending to DicomBurn.
Step 3 - Select a study source to DicomBurn
- DICOM Push from your PACS/Modality
- DICOM Query retrieve from your PACS/Modality
- Browse-in DICOM files
DICOM Push from your PACS/Modality
Collect DicomBurn server IP, AE and Port from bottom screen, and create a send destination/target in your PACS/Modality. You may change the default AE, Port details by editing and clicking the reset server button.
DICOM Query retrieve from your PACS/Modality
Select the Query/retrieve tab on top-right, follow the instructions at bottom screen. Do enter DicomBurn details in your PACS/Modailty else images won't not be downloaded even if you see the study details. That is the standard way of DICOM communication - Q/R.
Browse-in DICOM files
Click the 'Browse files' button in middle screen to import DICOM images.
Step - 3
Once you send studies DicomBurn, you will see the study entries on DicomBurn screen, and images count shall go up as they are received.
Step - 4
Once DicomBurn receives a study, it will create a job for the post processing target, which can be done both manual and automatic mode settings. Check/UnCheck AutoBurn at bottom screen.
