Nativate DICOM USB Burner records & label DICOM studies to USB drives such as memory sticks, dongles, external HDD/SSDs as an easy backup for offices with no backup and low tech skills. Select all imaging studies and route to attached USB 2.x, 3.x. drives for quick random backups, or hand out study images to radiologists, referrals in polyclinics. Imprinted/Labeled DICOM USB sticks having imaging facility name, logo, image acquisition details can be distributed to patients.

Troubleshooting CD/DVD/USB Drive DICOM burning errors

Some instances, you will see a long error text showup at DicomBurn log area at bottom. That is almost likely your CD/DVD or USB drive is NOT working.

- For CD/DVD drives, if it is an internal drive, try new external drive. We found either the optical drive was corrupt, or bad CD/DVD is or forgotten to insert a disc.

- For USB drives, (A) check which USB port if you have selected, and (B) if that port still can read/write data. (A) & (B) are the two issues came to our attention.

Installation Instructions

Nativate DicomBurn automatically does a few things in the background. It requires only to send the images, the rest is taken care by DicomBurn.

No additional hardware is required to record DICOM images on standard CD/DVD/USB drives.

Optional automated disc labelling feature requires portable disc printers: are like a regular paper printer - records & prints on CD/DVD/BD.

Optional custom report templates & printing feature, RSNA radiology reporting templates integration.
